About Us

The Longueville Probus Club is a vibrant, recently-formed club located in the Lane Cove area on the beautiful North Shore of Sydney.

Join us for monthly meetings with stimulating and entertaining guest speakers, as well as a large range of social activities for retired and semi-retired men and women.

The Longueville Probus Club was established in August 2024, and currently consists of upwards of 65 retired and semi-retired men and women who come together regularly in the spirit of friendship, fellowship and fun. Meetings are comprised of brief reports from office bearers and activity organisers, followed by morning tea and chat and an interesting guest speaker. After the meeting members have the opportunity to gather informally for lunch at The Diddy or elsewhere.

Events include informal at home nights hosted by our members, Christmas celebrations, Melbourne Cup Luncheons, walking groups, extended bus trips, as well as weekly card games, coffee meet-ups and computer clubs – just for a start!

We also produce a monthly newsletter which summarises our activities. It can be viewed here on this website.

Our Club provides an opportunity to meet and socialise with a diverse group of locals who enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle in retirement.

Visitors are most welcome to come along and join us at monthly meetings.
