​ CASUAL WEEKLY GET TOGETHERS

Members are always welcome to come along to the weekly Cards Night on Tuesdays at The Diddy from 4pm to 6pm.
This may be followed by a casual dinner for those who like to stay.

​Coffee mornings are held every Monday at 10.30. Monday Morning Coffee is held at Brewmance (where Nibu used to be) in Lane Cove.

Meet at 9:45 in the picnic area for a 10am walk.
There will be a flat walk led by Jenny Stephens with the possibility of a longer walk along 3 bush tracks within Blackman Park.
Coffee afterwards at Puppy Tails or Lane Cove West.
In order to plan future walks, could you please let Jenny Stephens know whether you are prepared to go out of area, travel on public transport, drive, etc.

BUNDEENA EXCURSION

Date: WEDNESDAY 22nd OCTOBER

Details:
Meet Town Hall Station at 9:50am on Platform 4 at the bottom of the escalator. Train leaves Town Hall 10.01 arriving Cronulla 10.54.
Walk from Cronulla Station to Cronulla/Bundeena Ferry Wharf (approx 10 to 20 mins).
Ferry times
Depart Cronulla 11.30 arrives Bundeena 12midday
Return Bundeena 2.30 arrives Cronulla 3pm
Bundeena 3.30 arrives Cronulla 4pm
Ferry fares
Senior/concession $4.55 (one way)
No opal card for ferry, cash only
[Ferry: will not run in wet weather.

Join other club members and prospective members at the home of Gayle & Jim Macready, Lane Cove.
Please bring a plate of finger food to share, ie, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheeses, fresh fruit etc. and your own wine and preferred drink and glass.

RIVERBOAT POSTMAN EXCURSION

Date: WEDNESDAY 27th NOVEMBER

Time: Meet for 9.24 am train

Location: Brooklyn, Hawkesbury River

Details:
Longueville Probus Club will be joining the famous mail boat around the Hawkesbury River on Thursday 27th November. We will enjoy morning tea and lunch as the mail is being delivered to isolated areas on the Hawkesbury.

o get there: We will be meeting for the 9.24 train from Hornsby and travelling to Hawkesbury River Station and returning on the 1.27 train.
​
